This time, I enlarged the image using a filter to increase the contrast of the image.
I also changed the percentages of the solutions: 30ml of solution A (= 1L water + 10gr ClCu + 50ml glacial acetic acid) + 30ml water + 2.1ml of 110V hydrogen peroxide
(Elizabeth Opalenik "recipe", according to what I read )
I increased the time in bath -both mordancage and water for washing, using a temperature of 25 degrees. In a house in Tras-os-Montes, in the middle of winter, these temperatures of liquids AND mordançage outdoors bath ...well, it have to be told ... :-)
I used (as in other Mordançage experiments) Ilford Multigrade developer 1: 9 ,and not the Dektol developer in dilution 1: 5 which is described in several publications.
After 2 baths in mordançage, the gelatin started to come apart
The result is far, far from desired (I intend the black veils that Elizabeth Opalenik obtains) but the experiences continue, because, you know...
“Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds.” (Franklin D. Roosevelt.)
